While we have always taken the utmost care to source our wines directly from the Chateau or from negociants in Bordeaux, we are proud to share that we have now become Bordeaux Negociants as well.
This means that we can source more wine directly from the Chateaux, and can offer our customers more competitive pricing with less middle men.

Generally speaking, Negociants are wine merchants who buy grapes & vinify them, or buy wines and blend them before bottling them under their own label. In Bordeaux, Negociants receive allocations from each Chateaux and are then entrusted to sell & promote the wines to the market.
-
Since the 1600s, negociants in Bordeaux have been responsible for selling Bordeaux wine outside of the region. Many classified Chateaux in the Medoc adhere to the traditional system, exclusively selling their wines through negociants. Because of this long history, Negociants have large stocks of vintage wine from prestigous estates in great condition.

As traditional Bordeaux negociants have ventured out of France to circumvent the importer & distributor model in the US, we had an opportunity to reach back into Bordeaux, where we come from, thanks to our deep relationships there. We can now offer Classified Growths at the most competitive prices on the market.
